Build the community, too.

We're recruiting for our outreach and technical committees. Help shape our sessions, projects and the year ahead.

Apply to the committee

Committee applications for 2026–27 are now open, and we are recruiting for 8 seats across two tracks. We have big plans for this year — weekly build sessions, hands-on workshops, and a hackathon — and we’d like you to help us run them.

Outreach track

Led by Andrew Choi, Outreach Team Lead. Open to students of any subject.

  • Outreach Officer: builds collaborations with other societies, raises our profile around Cambridge and runs member emails.
  • Sponsorship Officer: brings in funding for our events, especially the hackathon, by reaching out to companies and societies.
  • Event Officer: secures venues and makes sure our events run smoothly on the day.
  • Treasurer: manages the society budget and works with the Sponsorship Officer on funding.

Technical track

Led by Zihao Liu, Technical Team Lead. You’ll need hands-on coding experience, but not a CS degree.

  • Technical Officer (GitHub, Discord & Website): owns the club’s technical infrastructure, including our website, GitHub repositories and Discord. You’ll maintain and improve these platforms, and build new tools or features where useful.
  • Technical Officer (Workshop): works with our Ambassadors, the student reps who help run our sessions, to design and deliver hands-on Claude / Claude Code workshops. You’ll help create technical content, demos and practical exercises for members.
  • Technical Officer (Demo / Project Lead), 2 seats: builds demos and prototypes with Claude, and leads a member project team from idea to working project and final showcase. You’ll work closely with our members and help turn interesting ideas into things people can actually use.

How to apply

Apply here: Join the Committee 2026–27

Sign in with your Cambridge account. You’ll need a short CV, ideally one page as a PDF.

Good to know

  • There’s no deadline, but apply early. We recruit on a rolling basis and close each role as soon as it’s filled.
  • You can apply for up to 2 roles, from either or both tracks. Rank them, and you’ll have a single interview covering both.
  • It’s a quick process. We review applications every week, so you’ll hear back within 7 days of applying. Shortlisted candidates have a relaxed 25–30 minute video interview.
  • Expect about 3–5 hours a week, with more around big events like the hackathon.
  • You don’t need to be a CS student, and you don’t need a long CV. We care most about your enthusiasm and your ideas for the club.

If you aren’t selected, you’re still very welcome to join a project team or come along to our sessions.
